What does this mean? When you place an order online, Mercato donates part of the proceeds to our partner, City Harvest, which in turn supplies meals to hungry families. Every $1,000 we raise would help feed 925 children and their families for an entire day. (That’s 2,700 people.)

As a member of the national Feeding America network, City Harvest is one of the largest food rescue organizations in the country and helps feed over 1.5 million food-insecure families. This year, they will rescue 111 million pounds of food and deliver it to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens and other community partners.
